Signs of Spring, New Energy & What’s Coming Next
Hello Everyone,
For many of us living on the island of Ireland, the past few weeks have really put us through our paces weather-wise. It has been a long winter. While the conditions have often felt challenging, and at times downright uninviting, I’ve been noticing those quiet, reassuring signs that nature’s rhythms are still moving exactly as they should. Snowdrops, for example, are a gentle reminder that spring is beginning to stir beneath the surface.
I don’t know about you, but I can feel a subtle shift happening in my own body too. There’s a little more energy returning. Sleep doesn’t feel quite as deep, and there’s a renewed sense of wanting to get out and about again. This change in momentum has shown up in my work as well, with my new offering of holistic treatments now available at The Egan Centre in Bray, County Wicklow.
If you’ve met me at a market and wondered whether I’d be offering appointments beyond Thursdays, the answer is yes. I’ve also booked space for Fridays and Saturdays, though Saturday availability will vary as market season begins again. I’ll be sharing my full treatment menu on my website very soon, but you’re always welcome to email me if you’d like to know more in the meantime.
Seasonal transitions like this are often a good time to consider gentle cleansing from the inside. I know it’s not always easy to let go of the comforts we’ve leaned on through winter; a glass of wine or a packet of crisps can feel very well earned. Sometimes, though, a little support can help the body find its own balance again. Substances such as zeolite can assist in slowly clearing heavy metals from our tissues, metals that can come from everyday sources like chemical deodorants, toxic self-care products, medicines, and even pesticides used on food.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll also be increasing my use of diatomaceous earth, a silica-based support known for its benefits to skin, hair, and nails, as well as its role in gently addressing parasites that may be affecting the body. These can create more challenges than we might realise, and supporting the body in a clean, non-toxic way can make a a really big difference.
And finally, some lovely news. A new Saturday market will be launching on the 25th of April at Outdoor Living in Kilmacanogue, County Wicklow. It will be an outdoor space filled with crafters, food producers, and beautifully handcrafted goods. I’m really looking forward to being there and reconnecting with familiar faces as the season unfolds.
As always, thank you for your continued support of Earth Magic. It’s deeply appreciated as we move into this brighter, more outward-facing time of year.
Take good care,
Ruth
