The condition known as eczema, is the body's way of letting you know that something you are doing is not quite working for you. Your body is giving you a signal. This is the case for most skin problems. The exception to this is if you burn your skin or have a contact dermatitis. The name gives the root cause away here. 'Contact'. Something we are coming into contact with is causing our skin to react so in this case, removing the external item from our environment, usually clears the condition up. 

I could write for a long time about the possible causes of the internal source however, that's for a blog post.

Most eczema is incredibly itchy and it's pretty impossible to stop scratching once you've started. This in turn produces histamine which makes you itch even more.. Hence, why the you go to the chemist to get an anti-histamine. The anti-histamine will work, but only temporary. 

Nature has an answer. Chickweed and Plantain are both are cooling anti-inflammatory I have used both a herbal decoction and herbal macerated oil in this formula to extract both the water soluble and fat soluble compounds. 

You need to stop the itch first and foremost thereby reducing the inflammation which in turn allows the skin's barrier to begin healing.
